What's New

Refer a lead to one of your other properties

When a lead would be better served by a sister building, you can now hand them over in one step. The other property gets a new lead with a short background of what the person wants, and nothing is sent to them until that property follows up.

The building is full, the budget fits a different one, or they want another neighbourhood. You can now refer a lead to one of your other properties without retyping anything or losing the history.

Where to find it

Choose Refer to Property at the top of the lead profile, or use the same quick action in the CRM board's quick view or the quick view in the Inbox. Pick the property to refer to and add a note if you like.

What happens

  • The person gets a lead on the other property's flow. It is the same person, so the two leads stay linked and their original lead source comes along.
  • The new lead gets a note saying who referred them, your note, and a short background of what they were looking for, such as bedrooms, budget and amenities. The AI at the new property reads it before it talks to them.
  • The original lead gets a note saying where they went and who sent them.
  • By default the AI is paused on the original lead, so only one property is talking to the person. You can switch that off when you refer.

Nothing is sent to the person at the moment of referral. The new property's own follow-ups pick them up, the same as a lead added by hand.

Good to know

  • A lead with no email address or phone number cannot be referred, because the other property would have no way to reach them.
  • If the person is already a lead on that flow, you are told so and no second card is made.
  • You need edit access to the lead and permission to add leads to the other property's flow. Only flows you can add leads to are offered.
