Recolour the portal, or brand it as your own

You can now change the colours of the entire admin portal by picking a theme. A theme recolours everything at once: the background, the sidebar and top bar, cards and tables, buttons, links, form fields, and the success, error, warning and info accents. Click one and the portal repaints right away.

Where it lives

Open the profile menu in the top bar and choose Theme. The Admin Portal Theme page lists the available themes as a gallery, each with a name, a short description and a colour preview. A checkmark marks the one you are currently using.

Building your own

Alongside the built-in themes, your company can create its own and brand the portal as its own product. In the theme editor you name the theme, set the core surface colours (background, sidebar, top bar) and your primary brand colour, then optionally add accent, link, border and feedback colours. Anything you leave out falls back to a sensible default. You can also give a theme a custom logo and icon, so the portal carries your mark instead of the QuickCasa one.

Text colours are worked out automatically to contrast with whatever surface they sit on, so a theme stays readable without anyone setting that by hand. A dark theme gets light text, a light theme gets dark text.

Themes you create belong to your company and appear in the gallery next to the built-in ones. The built-in themes are managed by QuickCasa and cannot be edited. Your own you can refine whenever you like, and they can also be created and applied by asking the AI assistant rather than working through the screens.

Rolling one out to your team

Picking a theme from the gallery only changes the portal for you. To brand it for other people, a theme can be applied at two higher levels:

• Company default: one theme applied and locked for every user, so the whole team sees the same branded portal.
• Per role: pin a theme to a permission role, such as Leasing Agent. Everyone in that role gets it, overriding the company default.

A role's pinned theme wins first, then the company default, then each person's own pick from the gallery. When nothing is locked above you, your choice is saved in your browser, so it sticks between visits on that device. Because it is saved per browser, choosing a theme on your laptop does not change what you see on a different computer.

Moving a theme around

Any theme can be exported as a JSON file from the theme editor, and imported back in from the theme page by pasting the JSON or uploading the file. That covers backing one up, sharing it, or moving it between companies. An imported theme always becomes a new theme owned by whoever imported it.

One thing to expect: a few deliberately dark tools, such as the code editor in the website builder, keep their dark look whatever theme you pick, because they are built to be dark.
