Receive and reply to lead email from your own domain
Sending Domains let you handle lead email on a subdomain you own, such as leasing.yourcompany.com, instead of a QuickCasa address. Add it under Access Points, add four DNS records, and any address on it can be an intake source with replies going out from that same address.
Lead email can now live on your own domain. Register a subdomain you own, such as leasing.yourcompany.com, and any address on it (bow34@leasing.yourcompany.com, mapleview@leasing.yourcompany.com, one per property if you like) can be used as an email intake source on a flow. Replies go out from the same address the lead wrote to. Your main domain and your existing inbox, whether that is Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or anything else, are not touched.
Adding a domain
Open Access Points from Settings in the sidebar. The Sending Domains section sits between Email Addresses and Phone Numbers. Click Add Domain, enter the subdomain, and QuickCasa shows four DNS records to add at your DNS provider: three CNAME records that let QuickCasa sign mail from the domain, and one MX record that routes mail sent to the subdomain into QuickCasa. Each row has copy buttons for the host and the value.
The domain shows as Waiting for DNS until every record resolves. QuickCasa re-checks pending domains every hour, and Verify Now on the domain card runs the check straight away with a plain-English note about any record still missing. When all four are found, the domain flips to Live.
Using an address on it
Once a domain is live, an Address on Your Domain box appears on the email access point in the flow editor. Type the part before the @, pick the domain, and the address is added to that flow's sources. The usual rule applies: one intake address belongs to one flow.
Why a subdomain
A domain's mail can only go to one place. yourcompany.com already delivers to your inbox provider, and pointing it at QuickCasa would take every employee's email with it. A subdomain has its own mail routing, so leasing.yourcompany.com can send and receive through QuickCasa while you@yourcompany.com carries on as before. The main domain is refused if you try to add it.
Good to know
- Adding a domain needs edit rights on the company.
- A live domain is never switched off by a failed re-check. If a record is later removed at your DNS provider, the card says which one is missing.
- Remove is blocked while any flow still uses an address on the domain as an intake source. The dialog lists the addresses and the flow each one is on.
The same tools are available to AI agents through the QuickCasa MCP.
