QuickCal now tells you when a calendar is not connected

A calendar can be set up for somebody who has not connected their own Google or Outlook account yet. Until they do, their real busy times are invisible, and the booking page can hand out a slot they are not free for. QuickCal now says so instead of leaving the gap silent.

Where you will see it

• In the calendar editor, a notice appears at the top whenever the owner, or any pool member on a round-robin calendar, has no connection or one that has stopped working.
• On the calendars list, an affected calendar carries a Calendar not connected or Calendar connection broken tag on its card.
• In the Integrations flyout, where you copy the public booking link and embed snippets, a warning names anyone without a working connection. Sharing that link is the moment an unconnected calendar starts costing real double bookings.

Broken and never connected are called out separately

A connection that has expired or been revoked is reported differently from one that was never set up, because a broken connection actively turns new bookings away and deserves a faster response.

What the notice offers depends on who is reading it

If it is your own calendar, you get a button through to the calendar settings page to connect or reconnect. If it is a colleague's calendar, you get a Send reminder button instead, which emails them to say they have been set up on a calendar and need to connect their own account to activate it, with a link straight to the page.

Reminders are limited to one per person per calendar per hour, so nobody gets buried, and the button stops being offered once that person has connected. Connecting has to be done by the account owner, because it needs a sign-in only they can complete.
