Put a building on daily sync by pasting its listing URL

The fastest way to put a building on inventory sync is now one form. Go to Developer, then Inventory Sync, then Sync a Listing. Paste the address of the listing page (a RentFaster property page, for example) and press Preview.

What the preview shows

QuickCasa reads the page and shows what it found before anything is written:

• The listing's title and how many units or floor plans it holds, with a row for each.
• How each row is identified (by its unit number, by its floor plan name, and so on) and why that rule was chosen.
• Whether the company already has a building attached to this listing, or a link already syncing it.
• Which flow will write the results and the time of day the sync will run.
• Warnings, such as a row with no identifier, or a building whose existing units would not be matched by the detected rule.

Where it lands

Choose a new building (the name is prefilled from the listing title and can be changed) or pick one the company already has. If the listing is already attached to a building, that building is used automatically. If the listing is already synced, the form says so and offers to open the existing link rather than creating a second one.

What Sync it does

Pressing Sync it does everything that used to be done by hand. The building is created or stamped with the listing id, a sync link is created with a free daily schedule slot, the standard inventory sync flow is installed for the company (or the link is added to it if the company already has it), and the first sync is queued. It runs within a few minutes.

A building created this way starts with its name, the listing address and the stamp. Its photos, prices and availability arrive with the first sync. Its street address is added by a person afterwards.
