Preview a quote exactly as your client sees it
The quote editor has a Preview button that opens your quote on its real public page, fully interactive. Approve it, decline it, toggle options and leave comments, and none of it is saved, sent or counted as a view.
There is a Preview button in the quote editor. It opens the quote on its public page, rendered exactly as the recipient will see it, using a private preview token rather than anyone else's link.
Fully interactive, completely inert
Preview is not a static rendering. You can toggle optional line items and watch the total move, approve the quote, decline it, and post comments, and the page responds the way it would for a real client.
None of it is real. No approval is recorded, no notification fires, no comment reaches anyone, and the visit is not counted against any recipient view log. A banner across the top makes the mode obvious, and a Start over button in that banner resets the simulated state so you can run the whole thing again.
What it is for
Two things, mainly. The first is checking your own work: your branding, your line item wording, and how the options read to somebody who did not write them. The second is walking a client through the approval journey live on a call, as many times as they need, without sending a single real link or leaving a trail of phantom approvals in your records.
Preview works on saved quotes. A quote you have not saved yet has no preview token, so save it first.
