Expired quote links now fix themselves

Quote links expire after 7 days. Until now, a client who opened one late had no way forward except hunting down your email address and asking. Both ends of that problem are handled.

Resend a link to one recipient

Every recipient row in the quote editor has a Resend Link button. It issues that one person a fresh 7-day link to the current version of the quote. No new version is created, the quote status does not change, and nobody else is contacted.

You can attach an optional personal note that appears in the email above the link. The note goes out by email only, not by SMS. The message itself makes clear that this is a new secure link and that the quote has not been altered.

It covers the other case too: a recipient added after the last send can be handed their first link the same way.

The recipient can ask

An expired link no longer ends at a dead page. It now carries a Request New Link button with an optional message field, so a client can explain they were away and ask for another. Requesting notifies you in the portal and emails the team, with their message and a direct link to the quote, so someone can hit Resend Link on that row.

Until a fresh link goes out, that recipient row shows a Requested a new link badge. Repeat requests inside an hour are absorbed quietly, so nobody can flood your inbox by clicking twice.

Knowing where every link stands

Each recipient row states its own link status: not sent yet, the date it expires, or expired. Alongside that, a View Times button expands the full log of when that person opened their quote, one timestamp per view, keeping the most recent 200.

One more thing at the far end of the journey: a recipient who approves can now message you from the quote page. Those messages land in the same conversation thread and never knock the quote out of Approved.
