Banned contacts stay out of your inbox

Some contacts are not worth a conversation: spam, harassment, people already dealt with. Those leads can now be marked banned, and a banned lead stays out of your way by default.

What changes on your screens

Banned leads are hidden by default on both the Leads table and the CRM board, and they are kept out of the inbox entirely so they cannot crowd your conversation queue.

Hidden, not deleted. A Show banned toggle, carrying a count of how many there are, brings them back into the list whenever you want them. When shown, each row wears a red Banned badge, and the reason for the ban sits on the lead profile under Contact Status rather than in the table.

Who does the banning

Marking a lead as banned is a QuickCasa action rather than one you perform yourself. You can show and hide banned leads, see the badge and read the reason, but the flag itself is set on our side. If you have a contact who should be on that list, tell us.

Blocked contacts show up instead of vanishing

QuickCasa keeps a global block list covering email addresses, whole email domains, phone numbers and social channel accounts. When somebody on that list gets in touch, by email, text, voice, Facebook or the web widget, the AI does not converse with them and no AI processing runs at all.

A lead is still created and marked banned, with the reason carried across from the block. That part matters: a blocked contact turns up on your list wearing a badge instead of silently disappearing, so nothing is turned away without a trace you can go and look at.

A public check for the person who was banned

Anyone can check whether an email address or phone number is on the global block list, without signing in, at /ban-check on the portal. It answers yes or no and does not reveal the reason. If the answer is yes, the page offers an Appeal this ban button that opens a public appeal form.
