A library of how-to guides, inside the portal

QuickCasa now has its own guides library: a set of short, searchable walkthroughs covering the everyday jobs a property manager does here. Open it from the book icon in the portal top bar.

Why it sits inside the portal

Because a guide that lives in the app can do things an external help site cannot. Every guide carries a row of deep links: buttons that take you straight to the page the guide is describing. Read the step on adding a property, press the button, and you are on the Properties page. No hunting through the sidebar for the screen you were reading about.

Guides also know which features your company has. A guide for a module you do not have is hidden from the index, so you never read instructions for something you cannot open.

What a guide looks like

Each one opens with a TL;DR box, a short set of key takeaways for when you want the gist rather than the whole thing, followed by a contents box that jumps to any section. Some guides include annotated screenshots of the page being described, with the relevant control ringed and numbered, shown wider than the surrounding text so the interface stays readable. At the bottom sits a list of the other guides in the same category.

What is covered

• Getting started: editing and saving, adding a property, adding a team member, importing your existing data, keeping listings in sync.
• Leads and follow-up: reviewing leads, handling escalations, automating follow-ups, managing do not contact.
• Conversations and bookings: setting up an intake channel, controlling what the AI says, connecting your email, getting a phone number, taking bookings.
• Operations: handling maintenance requests, sending a quote.
• Websites and forms: publishing a website, building a form.

Finding one without opening the index

Every guide is registered in the portal's omni-search. Press Ctrl+K, or Cmd+K on a Mac, and type what you are trying to do. Phrasings like "add a listing", "chase leads" or "where is the save button" bring up the right guide. The search box on the index page itself searches the full body of every guide, so a phrase from the middle of one will still find it.

The index also links out to the Resident Portal knowledge base and the QuickPass documentation for companies that have those modules, so it works as the front door to all of them.
